Public baths built in 1002 over Roman remains and probably remodelled in the Almohad period; at 450 m² they are among the largest in Spain. In the late 16th century they were buried beneath the Palacio de Villardompardo, which preserved them, and they are visited in its basement today.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
