The convent Marcelo Fontón built between 1765 and 1770 on Carlos III's orders. Conceptionist nuns have lived in it since 1858; its paintings by Bayeu and Maella were lost when it was stormed in the Civil War, after which it was a concentration camp and a prison. It belongs to Patrimonio Nacional.
