The Gothic church begun around 1397 after the fire of 1374 destroyed its predecessor, which was a parish church and, from 1819, a minor basilica until it became a cathedral in 1949. Of the centuries of the period it is carded here for the great porch on the south side, which was raised from 1580 on the site of an old cemetery, was not finished for another century and has a vaulted roof of 1686. The Neo-Gothic façade and tower are of the 1880s and 1890s.
