An elliptical artesian well, 34.83 by 24.84 metres and 9 to 11.5 metres deep, made in the 12th century and ornamented between 1729 and 1731 by the engineer captain Domingo Ferrari on the order of the Audiencia of Aragon. It is ringed by an ashlar parapet, and the water leaves through a passage covered by a hermitage dedicated to Saint Clement. It is the source of the river Jiloca and of three irrigation channels that water seven villages.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
