The hospital that Bishop Arévalo y Torres had built on the main square, opposite the town hall, raised between 1694 and 1699 to a design by Cipriano Antonio Miguel. It has a two-storey courtyard of depressed arches, an ashlar façade between two towers with spires, and a Baroque dome over the chapel by Pedro Portela. It is no longer a hospital: it now houses the Centro Cultural de la Villa.
