The Baroque palace that Carlos Miguel Ramírez de Jove, first Marquis of San Esteban de Natahoyo, had built from 1704 around a Gothic tower of the 15th century, finished in 1721 under Francisco Menéndez Camina. Two battlemented towers flank a central block of three storeys, and the collegiate church of San Juan Bautista, completed fifteen years after the palace, stands against it. Both buildings now house a cultural centre.
