Role
Town on the Camino de Santiago, in the Nalón valley

Grado was a town founded in the 13th century at the urging of Alfonso X, with a central street on the Camino de Santiago, and it did not win its autonomy until the end of the 15th century. In the 18th century its residents offered the king a sum to be able to elect their own councillors; the Audiencia of Oviedo ruled in 1774 against the monopoly of a few families and the Chancillería confirmed it in 1783.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
