The parish church raised in 1515 on land given by Cristóbal Dorantes, with three aisles and a main chapel under a Gothic star vault. The earthquakes of 1755 and 1763 brought down its walls and tower; the rebuilding, led first by Pedro de Silva, gave it its Baroque exterior, with a tower raised between 1755 and 1763, and in 1793 Fernando de Rosales added the Sagrario chapel. It was destroyed in July 1936 and rebuilt between 1937 and 1939.
