The parish church José Álvarez de Mesa designed in 1776 and that was built between that year and 28 May 1783, with five aisles and a dome on a drum; it is the largest parish church in the archdioceses of western Andalusia. It keeps the earlier tower, reformed in 1758 to 1760 by Pedro de Silva after the earthquake of 1755, whose belfry imitates that of the Giralda. It was burned in the civil war and its rebuilding was finished in 1944.
