A Romanesque cathedral begun in the last quarter of the 11th century, to which the 16th century and those after it gave its present look: the late Gothic tracery vaults (those of the side aisles from 1520, the central one from 1598), the Renaissance chapel of San Miguel (1523 to 1526) and, in 1790, the enlarged presbytery, which Manuel Bayeu painted in 1792. The present cloister dates from the 17th century and houses the Diocesan Museum.
