The collegiate church of the Saviour, whose chapter began a new building on 9 May 1695, designed, everything suggests, by Diego Moreno Meléndez. The whole church was blessed on 6 December 1778, half of it having been open for worship since 1756, and only the tower remains of the earlier building. It has been a cathedral since 1980; the museum can be visited and, since January 2019, the tower.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
