The oldest church in the city, Romanesque and begun in the 12th century, to whose medieval fabric belong the portal with Saint James on horseback and the apses. From these centuries date its tower, built in 1607, which forced the reform of the Epistle apse, and the repairs that followed the fire of 1 April 1779. It keeps inside Roman altars from the Tower of Hercules.
