The parish church of Liérganes, on the edge of the town beside the cemetery, whose works began in 1591 to plans by Bartolomé de Hermosa and finished around 1630. It is a hall church, with three naves of equal height under rib vaults with tiercerons and liernes; the tower dates from 1573, the sacristy was added in 1691 and the apse keeps remains of an earlier church, perhaps Romanesque. The high altarpiece, from around 1660 to 1670, is the work of Tirso de la Cidre and Francisco de la Torre.
