The Renaissance town hall, built in 1568 on the Plaza de los Naranjos and much altered by restorations in the second half of the 20th century. The facade carries a sundial, coats of arms and plaques in Old Spanish that record the capture of the city by the Catholic Monarchs in 1485, the water supply of 1632 and the additions of 1779. It is still the seat of the council.
