The church of the convent that the physician Lope Sánchez de Triana founded in 1602. The plans date from 1615 and 1621 and work began in 1622, running well into the 17th century; it is one of the best works of classicist Baroque in the city, with a Latin-cross plan and a belvedere tower above the dome over the crossing. It now houses the Museum of Visigothic Art and is part of the archaeological ensemble, a World Heritage Site.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
