The Benedictine monastery of the Ribeira Sacra, with a Romanesque church begun in 1183 and the Cloister of the Bishops. From 1516 it was enlarged: Diego de Isla designed the Renaissance cloisters of the Caballeros and the Vivero, and the works ran into the 18th century, with the sacristy of 1640, the Baroque façade and the staircase vault of 1739. Since 2004 it has been a Parador, and the church is still a parish church.
