The town hall of the villa of the Isla de León, a Neoclassical building begun in the mid-18th century under Torcuato Cayón, who directed it until 1783, and carried on by other architects in the 19th century. It stands out for its façade on a stone base and its marble imperial staircase with mural paintings. Today it is the seat of the town council, in the plaza del Rey, and houses the Biblioteca Almirante General Lobo.
