The church of the convent of the Discalced Carmelites, founded in 1650; the church was inaugurated on 2 February 1733. It is Baroque and Neoclassical, in the form of a Latin cross with three aisles, and a dome with a lantern covers the crossing. In the Sagrario chapel it keeps the Virgen del Carmen Coronada, a Genoese carving donated in 1708 who is the patron of the city.
