A cathedral begun in 1158, whose medieval body predates these years; this card covers its dated parts. The south portal was built between 1761 and 1765, and the free-standing Baroque tower, by Martín de Beratúa, went up between 1762 and 1769 under the patronage of Bishop Andrés Porras y Temas. Inside is the main altarpiece by Damián Forment, who died in 1540 leaving it nearly finished, and the cloister now holds the cathedral's exhibition.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
