The collegiate church of Santa María, begun about 1168 with a Romanesque cloister of 1180 to 1206 and raised to cathedral in 1783 when Pius VI created the diocese of Tudela. From the period come the Torre Nueva, of stone and brick, built from 1682 to 1697 after the late Romanesque tower fell in 1676, the Baroque chapel of Santa Ana, of 1712 to 1724, and the chapel of the Espíritu Santo, of 1738. A fire destroyed the tower's spire in 1747, and the church reopened in 2006 after its renovation.
