A charterhouse near El Puig, founded under Elena Roig's will: the monks took possession of the estate on 7 April 1585. The present monastery was planned between 1619 and 1621, work on the church began on 6 February 1621, and building ran on to the end of the 17th century. Today it is part of a complex with a hotel, a restaurant and a golf course.
