The theatre of the colony, built in the first half of the 1st century, under Tiberius and Claudius, and the largest show building of Caesaraugusta. It stayed in use until the 3rd century, when its stone was taken to raise walls and other works. Its remains are visited inside the museum built over them.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
