The fountain the council had built to commemorate the arrival of water in Baeza in 1564, designed by the Baeza architect Ginés Martínez in the form of a Roman triumphal arch. It carries eight caryatids and, in its upper part, the arms of Philip II. It was altered in 1670 and last restored in 1993.
