The shipyard where the galleys of the Crown of Aragon were built, which Peter the Great ordered raised about 1285. According to the excavations of 2010 to 2012, much of what stands is a rebuilding of the late 16th century, a few metres inland and still in Gothic style, to which the Generalitat added three naves in 1618. The Royal Galley of John of Austria was built here in 1571; the buildings now house the Maritime Museum.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
