The house of the cathedral's archdeacon, which already existed in the 12th century and which in the 16th century Lluís Desplà i d'Oms reformed into a small palace of Gothic structure with a Renaissance doorway, a columned courtyard, a gallery, a staircase and a central fountain. In 1870 it was joined to the neighbouring Casa del Degà and the courtyard took the form of a cloister. Since 1921 it has been the seat of the city's Historical Archive, and a stretch of the Roman wall can be seen from the ground floor.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
