The Jesuit church built between 1680 and 1729, from a design by Josep Juli, to replace the one of 1553 that a fire damaged in 1671. It follows the Counter-Reformation model of the Gesù, with a single nave and side chapels, and a façade of Solomonic columns on carrer del Carme. After the expulsion of the Jesuits in 1767 it became a parish church; in 1936 a fire destroyed its Baroque interior decoration.
