A Renaissance palace on the calle Calera, made in 1545 as the residence of the canon Francisco de Miranda Salón, probably under Juan de Vallejo; the land was bought in 1543. It has a courtyard with two storeys of galleries and keeps its monumental staircase. It stayed with the Miranda family until the 18th century and then became a tenement; works to make it the seat of the Museo de Burgos began in 1942.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
