The sanctuary of the patron saint of Ceuta, whose first temple was built after the image was sent in 1421; no medieval trace can be seen in its fabric. The first notice of works dates from 1676, when it served as the provisional seat of the cathedral chapter, and the work that gave it its Baroque appearance was done in the first half of the 18th century; it was consecrated on 5 August 1752. It keeps the image of the Virgen de África, given by Henry the Navigator.
