A palace built between 1608 and 1613 on calle de la Rúa by Juan de Chávarri y Larraín, first baron of Purroy and perpetual merino of Estella, with stone from the demolished castle of Estella and from Azcona. It may have been designed by Juan Gómez de Mora, and it was carried out by Juan de Yerategui and Martín de Sarrote. It belonged to the baron's family until 1880 and since 2010 it has been the home of the Museo del Carlismo.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
