Porch of the grain market that the town council commissioned from the master builder Bartomeu Brufalt and that went up in 1586 and 1587 in the old Plaza del Blat: fifteen Tuscan stone columns on a stone-paved platform carry a four-pitched timber roof, 24 by 15.65 metres. It was partly destroyed in the bombing of 31 May during the Civil War, rebuilt, and restored from 1985 to 1986.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
