A Premonstratensian monastery founded in the 12th century, now Augustinian. In 1522 the abbot Íñigo López de Mendoza y Zúñiga and his brother Francisco de Zúñiga, 3rd Count of Miranda, began an enlargement, with the main chapel and an octagonal crossing with a dome on squinches, finished in 1572. The Baroque bell gable was completed in 1738 and the works ended in 1798 with the library in the upper cloister, which can be consulted on request.
