The church of San Pedro Apóstol, in the Rucoba district, which the master Francisco de Hazas built in the early 17th century in late Gothic and Renaissance style. The great Baroque portal, by Diego Vélez de Palacio, was added in 1664, and the high altarpiece, in Rococo, dates from 1777. It holds the Cristo de la Agonía, an 18th-century carving to which miracles have been attributed since 1919, and it is a place of religious tourism.
