The church of the Bernardine convent founded in 1615 by the Duke of Uceda, designed that year by Juan Gómez de Mora but begun only in 1671, after the favourite's fall, and finished in 1744 with a façade by Pedro de Ribera. Since 1986 it has been the cathedral of the Spanish armed forces. It stands on the calle del Sacramento, facing the Palacio de los Consejos.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
