The church of the former Portacoeli convent, founded in 1648, which the parish of San Martín, one of Madrid's oldest, took over in 1836 after its own church was pulled down. Its date is uncertain: it follows the Madrid patterns of the 17th century but has also been dated to the mid 18th, and its doorway is attributed to José de Churriguera. It faces the plaza de Santa María Soledad Torres Acosta.
