The church of Vallecas, its crossing begun in 1565 to a design attributed to Juan de Herrera, over an earlier church already described in 1427; Ventura Rodríguez added the tower in 1775. It was badly damaged in the Civil War and has been restored several times, most recently in 2024. It stands in the old centre of Villa de Vallecas.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
