The Renaissance town palace that Diego Beltrán, enriched in Peru, began around 1528 to designs by Luis de Vega, the architect of Cobos's palace in Valladolid, and which was finished in 1543. Its two-storey courtyard stands out, with medallions of Castilian kings by Esteban Jamete. It takes its name from Francisco de Dueñas, who inherited it through his wife; since 1950 it has belonged to the State and been a school.
