The Baroque sanctuary of Murcia's patroness, in the Carrascoy hills, begun on 16 February 1694 over an older medieval hermitage recorded since 1429. Its façade, by Toribio Martínez de la Vega, was finished in 1705. The civil war destroyed the interior, which was rebuilt entirely by the middle of the 20th century.
