The city hall, known as Cort, built between 1649 and 1680 on the site of the old hospital of Sant Andreu, where the jurats had met since 1249. Its Baroque façade with Mannerist elements, by Pere Bauçá, Miquel Oliver and Bartomeu Calafat, has a great eave projecting three metres, the Rellotge d'en Figuera and the Banc del si no fos. It is still the seat of Palma's town council.
