The Baroque palace that Miquel Vallès de Almadrà, marquis of Solleric, began in 1764 on the site of the Can Cifre houses; the work is attributed to Gaspar Palmer and the ironwork and sculpture to Antonio Soldati, and the main façade faces the paseo del Borne with a five-arched loggia. It passed to the Morell family in 1790 and the town council bought it in 1975. It is now an exhibition centre.
