The alcázar that James II of Majorca rebuilt in 1309 over the Muslim fortress, and where the kings of Majorca, Aragon and Spain held court. Charles I of Spain, the emperor Charles V, had the upper floor built in the first half of the 16th century, and Philip II set the Tinell aside for the Real Audiencia and put the General Captaincy of the Islands in the rest. Today it is the king's official summer residence, run by Patrimonio Nacional.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
