The commemorative arch in honour of Carlos III, built between 1783 and 1784 as the main entrance to the precinct of the Royal Artillery Factory, which was then ringed by a high wall of cut stone. It is a round arch between pilasters under a triangular pediment that reads "Carlos III Rey. Año 1784", and the stones under the arch are fused with runs of iron and lead. It can be seen freely from the public road.
