An arcaded square of 1713 to 1729, one of the Castilian squares with wooden galleries, later than the comparable ones in its district. It measures 53 metres by 21; the east side has stone columns carrying two storeys of wooden gallery, the town hall and the school stand on the north, and the church of the Cristo del Valle and its small plaza take up the west side.
