The convent of Poor Clares founded in 1260, enlarged in the 16th century with gifts from Isabel de Granada, a granddaughter of Boabdil, who became its abbess. The present building went up between the 17th and 18th centuries and was finished in 1719, mainly under Domingo de Andrade, except the curtain façade by Simón Rodríguez, which does not lead into the church but to the convent entrance. It is still an enclosed convent of Poor Clares.
