The church of the Jesuit novitiate, attributed to Leonardo de Figueroa: the first stone was laid on 14 August 1699 and the archbishop blessed it on 11 November 1731. It has a Greek-cross plan with a dome 13.5 metres across and wall paintings by Domingo Martínez (1719 to 1730 and 1743). It belongs to the Diputación of Seville, and the works of 2016 made it possible to visit it again.

We count visits ourselves, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one. We never store your IP. We also use Plausible, analytics hosted in the European Union that likewise sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, to learn which sites send readers here and how many searches are run, never what is searched for.
