The church that has occupied a former synagogue since 1391 and was remodelled in the 17th century: the baptismal chapel was made in 1642, the sacramental chapel between 1642 and 1646, the main chapel in 1660, and between 1662 and 1665 the nave and the vaults were rebuilt, with plasterwork by Borja and Pedro Roldán. The earlier walls survive under the Baroque decoration, with remains of the synagogue's hejal.
