The Baroque palace that Martín Pedro González de Castejón, first Marquis of Velamazán, built at the end of the 17th century and finished in 1704, as the inscription on a balcony says. It has a rusticated portal, and the base of its corner tower is one of the two bastions of the Rabanera Gate; the tower with its slate spire and the storeys above the cornice come from the works of 1930. Since 2021 it belongs to the city council, which bought it for cultural and business use.
