The gate on the west side of the walls, formerly called the Gate of the Jews or of Saint Leocadia. It is Renaissance in style, with two pairs of towers and two arches of stone and brick, and it was rebuilt twice in the 1570s, the last time around 1576. The masters Hernán González and Diego de Velasco are believed to have worked on it, together with Juan Bautista Monegro, who would carve a figure of Saint Leocadia.
