Role
Town of the Charterhouse

Valldemossa, high in the Tramontana range, has had since 1399 the charterhouse that Martin the Humane granted to the monks and that they inhabited until 1835. Its parish church of San Bartolomé, documented from 1236, was reformed in the 18th century: the crossing was added in 1718, the Baroque high altarpiece dates from 1720 and the chapel of the Santísimo was built between 1792 and 1810 for the beatification of Catalina Tomás.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
