The palace of Arrieta-Maestu, which Juan López de Arrieta had built in 1525 on the site of the medieval tower of the Maestu family and whose works went on until about 1560. It is a three-storey ashlar building, fully Renaissance in the courtyard galleries, with a cylindrical turret on the façade and some remains of the medieval tower visible from outside. In 1886 it was sold by the marqués de Bendaña, from whom it takes its present name, and since 1994 it has housed the Museo Fournier de Naipes de Álava.

To count people rather than clicks, we keep a one-way code derived from your connection and browser for at most 48 hours and then delete it; what remains is totals per page that identify no one.
