The church of the Augustinian monastery of Santo Tomás de Villanueva, the only part of the complex left, which Archbishop Francisco Gamboa and Bishop Bartolomé de Fontcalda had built between 1663 and 1683. Claudio Coello and Sebastián Muñoz covered it in paintings between 1683 and 1685; the lower half was lost, and the collapse of a dome in 2001 took more. Restoration of the roof began in 2023.
